9 OUT OF 10 AUSTRALIANS ARE NOT CLAIMING WHAT THEY ARE ENTITLED TO AND WHAT IS THEIRS BY RIGHT!
What is the reason for myentitlements.com.au?
Ever looked for information about what you are entitled to and came away none the wiser? It doesn't have to be that hard. This site began with four friends chatting about government grants. All of us are from different backgrounds. One of us wanted to get back into part time work and needed child care. Child care is not cheap, so as the conversation progressed, we realised that as a group we were aware of many entitlements that each of us could use. So it made sense that if we founded a forum to ask others, more entitlements would come out of the woodwork.
Are we all experts on all entitlements?
Not yet. But no-one is. But there is millions of dollars going begging every day because people don't know about or how to collect their share. And we will continue to grow our list of entitlements with our expert group.
How the 1 to 10 ratings works
Rating 1 means they send you information without you asking for it, ie. voting papers. 2 to 4 will require you to do a bit of ferreting about, but it's not too hard. 5 to 9 will require expert help and 10 will require an act of God (If it's easier than that - call us).
How do we make this site pay?
We are a volunteer organisation relying on public input. We'll talk directly to you, it saves time and allows us to collect information for you quickly. if we need to pass you to a qualified entitlement provider they will offer advice also. If any further help is needed the entitlement provider will let you know if any fees are applicable. We receive a small fee from the entitlement provider for the referral. This is how we keep this public service active.
Are any entitlements off-limits?
No. If it is available and we don't have it listed, then call us and let us know about it. Be considerate and respectful in your comments so everyone can enjoy your expertise.
